The Bedlams Of Chaos: A Magic Practice.

Chaos magick is a Left-Hand magical tradition from the late 20th century considered unorthodox even by occultic standards. Not inappropriately named, it is a practice with neither respect for traditional occultic methods nor strict guidance in its own. It is an unbounded and unrestrained form of magic that permits you as an individual to expect results from engaging in freehand practice and experimentation.

Chaos refers to a domain of the unmediated, unrealized, and unpredictable, in which there are no boundaries or strict rulings that govern this domain. In here, the boundaries created by the physical do not exist. I would regard chaos as one of the languages of the universe at which all is born and formed from the primordial void frequently brought in mythology creation stories.

Entropy is the degree of disorder or randomness in a system. In cosmology, the concept of entropy is linked to the expansion of the universe. The universe is continually expanding, and as it does, the entropy of the remains from the early universe increases. This expansion contributes to the overall increase in entropy in the universe.

In my previous post on the harmony of fate, I regarded this as "Nature." An infinite and uncontrollable aspect, in which anything can occur. This is the true aspect and parent to absolute randomness and contradiction. I had also correlated this with the unconscious mind, where free will operates without inherent motivation or causation, allowing for the expression of irrational and chaotic impulses without a clear end in mind.

The association with this and Chaos Magick is that Chaos Magick is a practice where a magus can reach these entropic domains through trance-like and altered states of consciousness. This state is what Chaos Magicians refer to as "Gnosis." There are two fundamental aspects of reality—Kia and Zos.
Kia is associated with what is discussed above. The fundamental chaos of reality or nature.

It represents the subconscious or the realm of the unconscious mind. It is often associated with the instinctual, intuitive, and irrational aspects of the psyche in all living and sentient beings (A form of Life Energy) and the source of magical power and creativity. Whereas Zos is the organic embodiment of sentience and consciousness and represents the individual's conscious self, the ego, or the waking self. It embodies the aspects of personal identity and self-awareness.

This could call reference to some hermetic principles like "As above so below, as within so without," directing us to the idea of the macrocosm and its connection to the microcosm. The macrocosm being Chaos and Kia and the Microcosm being The Ego and Zos. The Chaos magician intends to merge and harmonize these two fundamental aspects of the universe in order to access personal power and creativity. The Will to shake and shape the void within the cosmos. This reality, said to be inside you, lays dormant in the sands of your subconscious and through the focus of your will, you can actualize and bring this will or image in your mind to a conscious reality. Pulling and drawing from the mist and flaky waters of the unconscious.
Chaos Magicians believe that by focusing your psychic energy into a highly compressed symbol or sigil, which is then rooted firmly in your subconscious, can open a floodgate of power by which you can access the power of chaos or Kia for the practitioner, therefore breaking the barrier of the Kia and the Zos.

Another belief is through the breakdown of the ego. They believe that by overcoming Zos and your ego, you can open a backdoor to the grandeur and vastness of Kia. The concentrated will of the Magus is also rooted in the subconscious and because the ego will try to suppress these, it is also required to send yourself into a null state, therefore forgetting the implantation of the sigil seed. For it to work, you should forget it's there. Through this, you can access the memories and powers of all living things as expressions of Kia.

Like most of my other posts, this is to remind you that we are indeed connected by fields or planes that transcend the axes of space and time. They go beyond our conventional understanding of what is real and what is not. Through the embrace of chaos and contradiction, we can, in turn, gain access to powers and insights within us that can shape the objective reality or metaphysical Kia. Imagine this like a library of unlimited possibilities and potentialities you can draw from. A way at which you can shape the world through your beliefs and will. Through the dissolution of boundaries and the exploration of entropy, Chaos Magick invites individuals to engage in a transformative journey that transcends the conventional and taps into the chaotic forces that underlie the universe.

Here are a few instruction in engaging your subconscious:

1. Understand what you're doing: Determine in your mind that you want to get the remainder of this dream. Be absolute here and be 100% sure that you can and will get this. There is no room for doubts, this practice is done with pure intention. Step out of yourself and your ideas of who or what you think you are

2. Clear your mind: Find a comfortable position and stay there for a while. Close your eyes to help you focus on what you what and clear your mind entirely. Nothing is important and nothing is real. Nothing really matters now except the peaceful tranquility of your mind

3. Breathe: This is probably one of the most important steps, you need to breathe focus on this breathing. Inhale in and out and whatnot until youre really relaxed and now you should be set

4. The anchor: Find an anchor. be it your desire to see something or a particular scene in a dream. find something associated to latch on to or repeat words over and over if you want. Just find an anchor or like a line connecting your mind and this world you want to go to.

Finally, you keep focusing until you see or hear something or get an impression(like a feeling). Information has to be passed into you. the first series of images or visions you see are what happened in the remainder of your dream. Just watch everything play out like youre supposed to.
